Reel Lay

EB has supplied a wide range of handling systems for Reel Lay vessels. These include pipe roller box assemblies, monopool handling systems, piggy-backing and straightener systems. EB’s latest Reel Lay project is the supply of pipelay system for Technip’s NPV. This project is one of the biggest engineering tasks undertaken to date by EB, and will result in the design, manufacture and supply of a specialist reel lay tower for the installation of rigid reeled pipes, flexibles and umbilicals.

 

EB has full responsibility for this turnkey solution including integration of 3rd party supplied tensioners and drives as well as the design, specification and manufacture of under deck equipment such as the hydraulic power pack.
