EB engineers have been designing, building and operating cable ploughs for over twenty years. Cable burial can involve the generation of extreme forces and vibrations and cable ploughs operate in a uniquely harsh environment. Using its experience together with a high degree of quality control and appropriate component selection, EB supplies cable plough systems that can operate for long periods of time without downtime, maximising productivity and minimising through life costs.

 

EB’s telecoms ploughs feature advanced SCADA based control systems that allow precise and reliable control and monitoring of the ploughs in up to 2000m of water and detailed ‘as-laid’ data. EB’s share design incorporates multiple forecutters to reduce tow forces, our deep water ploughs also feature proven steering systems and handling features to permit deployment and towing from a single wire.
